Opening an Account as a Foreign Custome

一、為確認您的姓名、國籍、居留資格、居留期間等資料，開戶時請提供您的居留證及第二證件(例如護照)。

When opening an account, please provide your resident certificate and a second ID document (such as passport) to verify your name, nationality, resident qualifications, and period of residence.

二、居留期限從申請開戶時起算不足3個月者，將無法進行開戶。

Applicants will not be able to open an account if their period of residence is less than three months at the time of application.

三、若您的居留原因為在台讀書或工作，請提供學生證、在職證明或相關證明文件。

If your reason for residence is to study or work in Taiwan, please provide your student ID, employment certificate, or relevant supporting documents.

四、本行依據我國法令及本行作業程序進行開戶審核，將詢問您相關問題，必要時將請您提供相關證明文件供開戶審核使用。

The Bank conducts account opening reviews in accordance with the laws and regulations of the R.O.C. and the Bank’s operating procedures. We will ask you relevant questions and request you provide relevant supporting documents for the account opening review when necessary.

五、若您的個人資料有變更時(例如任職公司、行動電話號碼等)，請至分行、網路銀行、行動銀行或本行網站更新資料；若未更新，本行有權暫時限制您的帳戶交易。

If your personal information (such as your employer or mobile phone number) changes, please visit a branch, use Internet banking, mobile banking, or our website to update your information. If you do not update your information, the Bank reserves the right to temporarily restrict transactions on your account.

六、開戶完成後，若您的居留證有換發時，請儘速持新居留證至本行任一分行辦理更新；若未更新，本行有權暫時限制您的交易。

After opening an account, when your resident certificate is renewed, please promptly bring your new resident certificate to any branch to update your information. If you do not update your information, the Bank reserves the right to temporarily restrict your transactions.

七、當您要回國時，請您將帳戶結清銷戶；若您未銷戶，本行有權暫時限制您的帳戶交易。

Please close your account if you plan on returning to your home country. If you do not close your account, the Bank reserves the right to temporarily restrict transactions on your account.

八、將本行帳戶、金融卡提供給他人使用或進行販售皆是犯罪行為，請勿觸犯法律。

Selling or allowing others to use your account at the Bank or your debit card is a crime. Please do not break the law.
